Defines supported image formats, size limits, captured metadata and the technical checks applied at intake.
Supported intake formats are PNG, JPEG and TIFF. Files larger than 20 MB are rejected before any analysis request is made.
Each accepted image records filename, media type, byte length, pixel dimensions, an intake timestamp and a trace identifier.
Five technical checks run at intake: supported format, field dimensions, focus indicator, illumination uniformity and field coverage. A failed check does not block review; it is shown alongside the output.
Stated limitations
- Technical checks describe image quality only. They do not validate biological content.
- In this release intake operates on approved sample images; user files are inspected in the browser and never transmitted.
